Right Within: How to Heal from Racial Trauma in the Workplace by Minda Harts

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
This isn't the book for me. The author is Christian and though she tries to be inclusive, I wasn't feeling it. It sucks being "a minority within a minority," because as she says, majority of WOC are religious, so I understand why that chapter and those references are included, but personally it's a turn-off. The ideas also seemed simplistic, and most of this I've already figured out through experience. Also seems geared towards working in a corporate office (I was afraid it might be), and she mentions making a 6-figure salary several times, which is alienating to WOC in low-paying hourly jobs such as myself. Overall, the book just felt like it wasn't for me, but may help someone else.
