Interesting story, but I'm skeptical due to various sloppy errors. I don't necessarily buy the whole story. Why wouldn't the author correctly list the name of the primary character in The Princess Bride? It's Wesley not Westley. That's sloppy. Bodegas in NYC are not hipster. They've been around for decades, way before most hipsters were born. But most important (at least to me), he doesn't grok bitcoin. Someone who sells bitcoin is not a money launderer. Can bitcoins be used to launder money? Of course. But so can restaurants & car washes as Breaking Bad illustrated. Bitcoins are mined by trying to solve complex mathematical problems - they aren't found. And so on. These types of items really distracted me and made me wonder what other items in this story also weren't properly researched.
