Another well-done mystery-thriller in the Housemaid series! I sort of knew what to expect going in (having read The Housemaid) but I was still hooked and kept guessing along. That being said, I sadly have similiar issues with this one as I already had with The Housemaid. That is, fatphobia and negative remarks about adoption. Admittedly, it was The Villain who made those remarks but I can't help but notice it's once again the wife who makes these sort of comments. It's weird. Nonetheless, I'll probably pick up the next installment in the series as well.
