I feel I'm being quite generous with three stars and it's because I see the vision. I see a version of this book and story that is better written, funnier and with a way more interesting cast of characters but as it stands the writing is just so... Poor. There's great concepts and ideas thrown around in here and some of the commentary is really sharp but the writing just lacks the entire way through.

I was WISHING for the quality to pick up but it just never got there unfortunately.
