OH BOY, that was one wild ride. Holly sure knows how to write a trilogy that managed to feel more like a dramatic tv show then any book I had read before (no surprise that Netflix picked this up). As Good As Dead takes the cake for the most dramatic of the three, trying to strike a balance between realistic and over-the-top theatrical. People were not kidding about that jump from the 1st part of the book to the 2nd, but I still loved Pip through all the heartache and wild shenanigans. Interesting ending with twists that do not disappoint. Worth the read, some people don't appreciate when an author is willing to push boundaries and I am thankful that Holly did just that with this book.
Graphic: Death, Mental illness, Grief, Murder
Moderate: Confinement, Drug use, Suicidal thoughts, Kidnapping
