Camino Ghosts by John Grisham

3.5

The third in the Camino series, this story takes on a bit of a heavier topic.  I was a little nervous at how the topic of enslavement and attempted stolen land was going to be handled, but I didn't find this cringe-worthy.  Excellently narrated by Whoopie Goldberg, there is a dual timeline that works well and tells the history of Dark Isle and Lovely Jackson.  I love the deviance that occurred in the efforts to help Lovely Jackson.  An engaging story.  I would continue to listen to more in this series.
