Go, Dog. Go! by P.D. Eastman

January 2017: This book used to torture me when William was about 2 years old - he loved it, and it felt so endless and repetitive (because it is)! Then after a year or so, it began to collect dust on the bookshelf. Now that he's beginning to read on his own, I picked it out again for him to read to me. It's been so perfect! I am impressed by his stamina in reading through the whole story, and it's such a wonderful consistent exposure to sight words. He now asks to read it to me - even after reading other stories first. I had to add a star...
