DEAD INSIDE...

This book was a lot to unload. By the time I finished reading it, I wasn't sure if I loved it or hated it but I'm glad I was able to finish it.

Yes there are quite a few moments (scenes) within this book that were kind of horrifying and hard to push through. I did have to stop a few times and break before being able to continue. While going into this book blindly worked for me, I don't recommend this option for others who have triggers. This book while completely dark and horrific, it's also quite thought provoking...

What's normal? Why is normal the "term" everyone wants their life to defined by? Who says what normal is? Are any of us really normal?

I think the author pushed the boundaries of what's normal and acceptable with this book but in doing so, he created something that will cause you to think about ourselves and others and wonder how many "normal" people there are in the world?
