Greywaren by Maggie Stiefvater

There should be monuments dedicated to this book. It should be hung in museums. Children will be named after it.

Is this the best book ever written? It possibly is.

The way Maggie has her characters contend with grief is gut wrenching and powerful and beautiful. Declan is Neil’s favorite but he never knows. Neil doesn’t want Ronan to grow up thinking he’s a monster but he does.

These characters are complex and messy and beautiful and I just love this world so much. A true masterpiece.
