Last Days

“Last Days” was a damn near perfect execution, in my opinion, of what found footage horror embodies.
The premise had me expecting this to be a pretty standard adventure but it honestly wound up being way more than I thought it would. The setting jumps and array of characters draw you in without giving much away to begin with. There’s even a lull in the middle of everything that seems to realistically capture a found footage mashup. We get to know our characters without wasting too much time building them up, we get to know the story as it unfolds without getting all information either up front or at the very last pages. There’s some truly scary moments that leave you on the edge of your seat, biting your nails.
All in all it was an incredible journey of one man’s twisted search for the truth through the lens of another man’s camera.
