Oooh one of Kristen Hannah’s earliest books and it wasn’t a great read. Started off interesting enough but soooo repetitive (ok we know that the main characters are damaged by their childhoods please please stop telling us about them!) and when she described the main female character as having the body of a whore that was it for me!!! We all have to start somewhere and I’m glad she wrote this as she may not be the writer she is today if she didn’t start somewhere - I just wouldn’t recommend reading this - but her later works are for the most part amazing
