This was my absolute favorite of the Redemption Hills series! I had been wanting Tessa's story since we met her in Eden's book (#1), and this more than lived up to the hype. I loved her entire back story and the "why" behind her being with her ex for so long. He isn't even worth mentioning further because... ewww. My heart went out to her and the situation she was in. Milo was definitely my favorite mmc of the series. My heart equally broke for his backstory and his entire journey to get his kids back. I mean how could you not love him. He stepped up when those around him need him, especially Tessa, and I am so glad the same went for him when he needed it most. I felt that him and Tessa were perfect together, and I adored their evolution from friends to lovers. The chemistry, tension, and spice were 🤌. Just perfectly executed and paced! This last book knocked it out of the park.
