The Little Sisters of Eluria by Stephen King

Stephen King has been a favourite author of mine, especially during my teenage/young adult years. Over the years I have kept up with every new release, and enjoyed every single one. So, when The Dark Tower books came up as a reading challenge in book club, I was excited to be revisiting Mr. Kings world.
This is a bit of a western fantasy with sci-fi elements and a dystopian feel- there is action, adventure, mystery, danger, violence, and a touch of the gruesome. In true Stephen King style, the story is fantastically descriptive and detailed- with incredible world building. There are parts of the story that ‘lag’ a little at times, but that didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book/s.
Still can count on Mr. King to deliver the goods when it come to telling a great tale!
