The Lost Gate
by Orson Scott Card
This was a fun book that felt like a OSC version of Micheal Scott's attempt to create a pan-cultural narrative encompassing all of the mythological deities from history in the Nicolas Flamel books. You can also compare it to Marvel Comic's version of the Norse God myths in Thor. Either way, it is a fun and imaginative book. I was disappointed and thought the author ended it too soon and too quickly without developing Loki well enough, but I am certainly anxious for the next book so I am sure his publisher appreciated it. Great job Mr. Card.
