This book goes into the femicides of 3 girls and women in Argentina during the 80s. It’s a very heavy but important book that shows just how common violence against women is. While telling the stories of the 3 victims, Almada also highlights other stories of unsolved femicides and guides us through her journey of writing the book (interviews with families, witnesses, suspects etc). I feel like adding in some more information about the causes/theory of femicide and how the justice system plays a part in downplaying how serious this epidemic is would’ve also been informative. But overall, this book is a must read.
