The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

I think.. If I read this before Throne of Glass, there’s a high chance that I will drop it. I mean, I almost did, If it weren’t for the knowledge that Celaena Sardothien is a different version in Throne of Glass. Here, she was the heir to the King of Assassins but she was also reckless, selfish, and most of all, arrogant. I think her arrogance is the main reason why things happened the way it did. In Throne of Glass, she was older, wiser, and a true badass. I think her time in Endovier, and what happened to Sam made her grew up. I love her in Throne of Glass but here, she’s annoying.
