This was a decent end to a great series - quite nostalgic for me now and definitely written for a young adult audience, but you know what? That was absolutely fine. I liked how Sebastian's story ended, I thought it was apt. I don't really get the Simon storyline end but that's OK too - this is fantasy; I am cool with suspending some disbelief at times (especially for a story written for YA readers!) Canny series, canny book, looking forward to reading further into the world again.
