This was a fast read considering the number of words per page. Do not be fooled by the 272-page disclaimer. It’s kinda long if you see the font size.
Okay! Wow, so proud of myself for reading this book in one day. Well, for the record, I didn't get that much job done. Hehe.
The story is very well-written and tackles issues that real highschoolers-well, in this day and age-struggle with, especially women. Pressure that comes from really big expectations, little to no regard for women (in the engineering field) and family problems. How Alexene delves into these struggles is done in a way that is borderline young adult and adult. I love that there were no toxic characters, and that problematic actions and attitudes were given development at the end.
All in all, a refreshing read for 2022!
