The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post
by Allison Pataki
Historical fiction closely follows the real life of Marjorie Post who was the daughter of the man who started Post cereals. I am not entirely sure what my expectations were - and it was a perfectly pleasant read - but it was basically about this woman building or refurbishing properties. I wanted more about her businesses and leadership and strength of character, less socialite/millionaire throwing money at everything. I think the author did an okay job, and Marjorie Post did have a very interesting life. If you like nonfiction Biographies this is a fiction book you’d probably enjoy.
