The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson

inspiring slow-paced

4.0

I usually don't like self-help books but TSAONGAF is widely popular so i gave it a try, and it was worth it. What an eye opening book! literally the every page I flipped the words slapped me on the face. When they say reality is hard to swallow, believe them bro, cause they aren't lying. The book is written in a hilarious and entertaining way but with every page it gets serious and uncovers some bitter truths, fhat we human tend to avoid. When I was a child I always wanted to be 'special', to be extraordinary, so that I could get the attention that my heart craved for. I tried my best to be good at studies, sketching, helping abu in every way possible.. but I never realized that seeking for more and more made me judge myself every single day. It scared me to death that WHAT if people dont like me, what if they talk bad about me. The hook kinda opened my mind, no manson doesn't say that don't give a fuvk about anything but about specific 'fuvk worthy' things. I hope the way I get to understand the lesson, I act upon it too. I hope yes.
