One Life by Megan Rapinoe, Emma Brockes

4.0

Half read/half listened to. I like that she was shameless about capitalizing on the moment of fame to cash in with a book, and then that she took the opportunity to say real things. I know there will be people that read this book and think differently after about issues of race, gender pay gaps, drug abuse, and the criminal justice system. I like that she does not pretend to not have an ego. I like that she knows and embraces that she is in the entertainment industry. I like her.

Also, she was with Abby Wambach!?! Abby left that detail out of her memoir.
