The book was a grave bore. The MMC was not strong at all. The FMC is drowning in depression and alcohol. Poor characterization. Sad sad sad saaaaad story. There is no build up for him to love her. Met once, met again, f'd and I will do anything for her. Ah come on...
π«... It's really disappointing read. We readers come here to push away reality aside for a while which we all know it's not freaking rainbows and sunshine out there.
The author decided to have 99% of the book with f depression and with such weak as* characters.
Authors should have basic knowledge that if they are making their story sad and traumatic, they should have their characters strong and ruthless. That's what carries the book and plot. Unfortunately author of this book failed with this one.
I can assure this would be my last read of her's.
