Booktok has wronged me with this one. Started off cute and light, but halfway through I realized it was the same trope in every chapter. If you love “best friends who actually are in love but REFUSE to communicate even the slightest” then this is for you. Nathan was cute but Bree bordered on grating, which is disappointing because she had a lot of potential. Overall I was underwhelmed.

Most importantly, this romance looked like it was building to a great steamy scene only to stop abruptly when they DECIDE TO WAIT TILL MARRIAGE. Then get married a day later despite having only dated for 24 hours and kissed twice?? Then the honeymoon suite fades to black. I have been bamboozled by this read.
