Faithless in Death
by J.D. Robb
I love the In Death books and am always amazed how the author keeps the stories fresh despite it being book 52, but this was a bit of a mixed bag.
The first half of the book dragged a little. The murder victim and the suspect didn't pull me into the story like some of the other books. It wasn't until a second connection came to light and pieces moved quickly that the tension increased and the pace sped up. That's when I was glued to the page and couldn't stop reading. The ending was very satisfying.
