See I have no idea how to rate this book, because the only thing in my head the whole time was: ?
I was so confused and everytime I thought I grasped the plot something new would happen or be added on and I’d be baffled. Nevertheless it was really good and I couldn’t put it down, although (I thought) the most mind-blowing plottwist was expected and came pretty early?
Essun‘s search for her husband and her daughter Nassun reminded me so much of Orka doing the same for her son in „The Shadows of the Gods“ by John Gywnne and that’s probably why I liked her character so much (because I love orka so much)

I wondered about the moon thing in the prologue but completely forgot about it until the end. I’m still confused, what does he mean by that? What is his plan? I guess I’ll have to find out, but I also can’t decide which personality of ??? Is my favorite, I personally loved Seyanite.
