This book is everything like, yet nothing like, what I expected. Mary Kubica delivered. I was hooked from start to finish. A woman and her daughter go missing and 11 years later, said daughter turns up? A shock to the community would be an understatement. Yet, it doesn’t end there…not even close. The twists and turns throughout were evident and did wonders for telling the story of Meredith and Delilah. I thought I had it all figured out but I was wrong (only partially). This was a thriller that was easy to read, kept you on your toes, and still shocked the shit out of you at the end.

Well done, Mary Kubica, well done!
