A Feast for Crows
by George R.R. Martin
This one just isn't as good as the first 3.
Why not? It's sloppier and the story just isn't as compelling. Hardly anything happens. The characters aren't as flushed out as I was used to (or wanted them to be). It made it difficult to care about what happened to them. There are some exceptions to this but in general, it just didn't have the spark the first 3 books have. It almost felt like it was written by someone else. Still love the series and will keep reading based on the strength of the first 3 books.
