I want to like it. I want to like it so bad. I loved the donghua and needed more of the characters. But this book…I don’t know. It’s my first danmei, so maybe I’m just not used to the writing style, but something about the translation felt off to me. Clunky. I couldn’t get through it. Here’s to hoping the donghua gets a third season.
