This whole series has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. Every time I step in the pages of these books, I get completely lost in the world of the Rebels.
Is it possible to talk about how perfectly imperfect Kate Meader writes her heroines and heroes? Because I'm going to mention it in every review. Cal and Mia are perfect examples of how she writes characters who make the wrong decisions or let their pasts or miscommunications cause conflict but always seem to handle them in a mature and thoughtful way that makes it super easy to forgive them
There is just something so right about these books that leave me feeling completely satisfied while also having me crave more of these wonderful characters and the world of people who surround them.
This is a top read of 2020 for sure!!
