The Wander Society by Keri Smith

adventurous informative inspiring slow-paced

5.0

For a long time, I held off on picking this book up because I incorrectly assumed it was an interactive journal-type situation (like Smith’s Finish This Book, Wreck This Journal, etc). But no! It’s an informative look into the mysterious Wander Society, an anonymous and widespread community that focuses on slow, observant, and creative living, and takes a lot of inspiration from the writings of Walt Whitman.

I finished reading and immediately wanted to join. Perhaps my one qualm is that many of the other writers and creatives listed as Wander Society visionaries are men. But I guess that just means I’ll have to become one myself and help correct the gender representation.
