The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli
4.0

It was one of the books i had to turn the music off to fully get invested in. I usually do not engage with this genre of books yet i can't say i wasn't captivated by Machiavelli's work. Sometimes while we are being given history texbooks the actions of rulers from past times come as unreasonable or even weird becuase we don't know the criterium that leads them to making the choices they did. As an admin major i found myself surprised by how accurate Machiavelli's describtions were. Many statements from this book stay relevant till this very day even though centuries have passed. I found myself very often flipping through the paged and marking quotes over and over again.
