Weaveworld by Clive Barker

I have seen Wonderland, and even though it may not be for the faint hearted, what wonder it holds. This story is very well written and the characters truly came alive for me, for I fell in love with the monsters, Seerkind and Cuckoos alike. To me the struggle between good and evil is felt in so many of them, which feels believable for me, because I don't seem to like stories that keep things all black and white. This book contains everything from magic to horrors, poetry to faerie tales. Furthermore, this book made me think about the power of imagination and I couldn't stop reading. This is a book I will read again and I truly recommend it to anyone who loves intricate tales of different worlds woven into ours. Worlds that, with closer examination, may not even be that different after all.
