Ben Rhodes went from 24 yr old campaign worker, to speech writer, to policy advisor over the Obama era. He chronicles his time in the White House dealing with the world as it is (in their case - inheriting two stupid wars and an economy in free fall) and trying to nudge it toward the world as it ought to be. Crazy the shenanigans that went down. Can't believe that Breitbart took memos and changed them before publishing and when called out on it, basically said, "so what?" I knew they didn't employ fact checkers, but that's low. He worked for a long time as Obama's speech writer so, of course, the writing is top notch. Good to have his view on the record. History will judge.
