Mixed feelings about this one, mostly positive though! I thought the writing was clunky and repetitive but I still couldn't put it down. The characters were excellent, I don't want to say *especially* the side characters but I would love to see some spinoffs. If historical romance is a genre you like and you want to read about a trans protagonist, definitely give this book a try!
