Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town
by Stephen Leacock
A whimsical romp through a tiny Canadian town, Sunshine Sketches is a quick, fun read. Though Leacock is clearly a talented satirist, his subtle and unassuming style may put off readers who are looking for a louder (more American) wit. For those of you who enjoy watching black and white comedies (think Jimmy Stewart's Harvey), this book is for you.
