adventurous dark slow-paced
i like part i, about how corn is in everything, the most. there is a lot of info (tho it may be missing some by todays standards). it gripped me in a way a book hasn’t in a while. 

part iii on hunting and gathering can be skipped as it is overly long, tedious and unhelpful.
