I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK - but I do have to admit this was pretty genius. It was my second Colleen Hoover book after not having liked the first one all that much (I'm sorry xD), but I really enjoyed this!! There was some unused (?) potential and the ending felt rushed, but I couldn't put the book down after having been stuck in a reading slump for months, so that's a good sign haha.
Even though I'm usually very easily scared, I was actually way less scared than expected, sometimes the tense atmosphere was described but not palpable to me personally? But maybe that's simply because I made an effort to read the book outside in the sunlight so that I wouldn't be completely terrified HAHA
But overall this was really good. I have to mention that I very rarely read thrillers, so I can't compare it to other books from that genre, but how much this did make me reconsider everything I just read - just wow. I have to stop turning everything over in my mind because I need to sleep LMAO but I almost feel the need to reread to fully solve the puzzle that is this book
