With all the Middle Grade novels I've read in this lifetime, it's either my heart hurts with how beautifully profound this book's message is or these characters have seared it deep into my life and heart I adore them I cherish them I will protect them at all costs . Simply put, I've enjoyed and adored most of the Middle Grade books I have read.

Sadly, tho, that wasn't the case for me with this book. I appreciate the message it wanted to convey to its audience, and I do admire the book for the ideals it forwards especially to its target young audience
