I came across the https://www.hilariousworld.org/ podcast at a very critical time in my life while recovering from major surgery (a AAA repair - it has nothing to do with a car, btw. Feel free to look it up). I have also had bouts of depression and anxiety throughout my life and the podcast provided me so much insight and normalized what I was going through during these frickin’ tough times. It gave me perspective and lots of tools as to how to carry on and hold my head up high. 
I wasn’t surprised that John Moe’s book would exceed expectations because he is a funny and fantastic communicator. I love and respect him even more having read about his trials and tribulations and how he put the show together.
