This was a fun romantasy read! Good banter between the MCs, secret identities, rebellions, evil overlords, fae and magic! All the things we’ve come to expect from a fantasy romance. It took me a while to like our FMC, Prisca, she just felt very immature and hotheaded at first, while the hotheadedness never went away, the immaturity settled and I felt like there was quite a bit of growth for her character. Lorien is kind of an a$$ and not always in the fun alpha hole kinda way… but overall I like him and I’m curious to see how things develop in future books!
