I really enjoyed this story. It was loaded with a good dose of drama and intrigue. Just when you think you've got it pegged there's a twist that alters your thinking.
Full of mystery, my suspicions were jumping from one character to another. The cowboy element is a little incidental and not really necessary to the story, although I must admit I like a good hunky cowboy so I would have liked a little more of that throughout the story.
It could have been a little tighter in places but overall it was a captivating read. I would have liked a little more heat between the leading characters.
The traditional mythologies coupled with modern paranormal shape-shifting elements makes this a unique and compelling tale. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
