Sixteen Stormy Days
by Tripurdaman Singh
This book is account of year 1950 when our Constitution was enforced in country of the people by the people for the people, and Author did a very deep research and dug out cases , circumstances role of different states, Role of jawahar lal Nehru , B.R.Ambedkar, Sardar vallabhai patel and other dignatories and how the rules got challenged , how they have to face wrath of several states, and what they did , Role of judiciary , abolition of zamindari system and Equality on the basis of caste , creed , gender so that everyone should be treated equal before law.
The research and the date that author collect from different sources and website is, huge pile in itself and it shows in the novel. The only problem i found is that lack of chronicles power as Author didn't go from one date to another he moved on with the story from random dates and number which is bit of confusing,
For aspirants of the UPSC and law please take time and read this novel and it's a great amount of knowledgeable stuff.. that author present to us in a book..
