Finale by Stephanie Garber

5.0

“You’re wrong if you think I don’t want you. I’ve wanted you for so long, and I’ll never stop wanting you.”

I think this took me so long to read, because subconsciously, I didn’t want this series to end.

Finale follows both Dragna sisters this time. Each of their storylines revolves heavily around romance, and I loved every minute of the drama, the fights, the feels, and the longing - yes, all of the longing.

Scarlet is still determined to meet her former fiancé, since she struggles with thoughts that Julian may not be the one for her.

Tella is still broken over Legend walking away from her, even though he doesn’t leave her completely alone. And he’s not the only one who’s still around.

That’s right. Our brooding, blonde Jacks continues to play his games with Tella. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love me some Legend, but do I ship Tella and Jacks? Yes, all the way. The chemistry between the two is undeniable, and coke on, Jacks is just so damn interesting.

Aside from the girls’ love drama, the premise of the story revolves around the dangerous Fates, one in particular, The Fallen Star, and their plot to defeat him once and for all.

The writing of this is fabulous as always. Stephanie weaves magical imagery with each descriptive sentence. She’s created a beautiful world, a beautiful plot, and beautiful characters. The entire journey of Caraval has been truly amazing.
