his is written in a way that you are transported to a time where gods walk among man, where sacrifice must be made in order to succeed, and as a female, your power lies in your beauty and wit. 
While Circe was banished for witchcraft, we get to accompany her journey over the centuries. From creating a new god, to helping her sister during the birth of the Minotaur, to her time spent with Odysseus, we see a different side of the "witch". One that experiences the same pain and loss, fear, and love, that we mere mortals experience during our short time on earth.
