Overall, it was a good book, but had a couple problematic things. The biggest problem that I keep thinking back was a scene where Earl talks about bisexuals, saying how it makes no sense that someone could be attracted to two different genders at the same time, and also, subtly calling them whores. The scene was extremely offensive and completely unnecessary. There were also some stereotypes of the characters(the one who stands out the most is Earl and his family) and that was also a issue for me. Both of those problems didn’t stop me from enjoying the book, but is making me more weary over Andrew’s other books.
