objectively i think this is a well-written book and the audiobook narrator is sooooo good but it was just not a book for me at all. esp bc i hate pregnancy tropes (any way shape or form of them) but everyone kept saying this book is an exception!! but well…not for me so rip
sometimes the writing was a lil cringe to me but it wasnt the worst thing, it just kinda set the tone about my feelings for the rest of the book.
i didnt rly like how the author treated ethan’s girlfriend’s storyline. i cant put exactly into words why, but the overall plotline of it just rubbed me the wrong way. also hated how the nurse gave her personal phone number to eve…loike yikes…but otherwise i loved her lol
also shep was just so…….bland. like he was just perfect in every single way and it’s loike okayyyyyy but where is the depth where is the growth where is the character development. esp bc everyone else from eve to willa to ethan had such great character development!! like honestly seeing eve’s journey of growing into who she becomes was rly beautiful and thats why i think if i read this book when im a lil older and more mature, i’ll be utterly obsessed w it
