The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie

I did not expect The Blade Itself to be as good as it is, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The atmosphere in this book is exactly what I've been looking for, it's dark, raw and gritty! I had so much fun and Abercrombie's writing is up there with one of my favourites.

I'm really, pleasantly, surprised. I don't have one complaint.

My favourite character throughout was Logen Ninefingers, I can't wait to get more from him but Glokta really grew on me as the story went on.

I'm so excited for the rest of this series!
