Little dark but happy ending. Deals with abandonment, assassination attempts, kidnapping, and blackmail.

This enemies to lovers story is one that holds your attention. For me, Bride brought a whole new meaning to marriage of convenience when it comes to romance novels. It touches on the many reasons that Misery and Lowe need to be together not only for their people, but for themselves as well. Their necessity of each other places the pair in situations that force them to rely on each other outside of their initial needs while also making them face the feelings they have developed for each other and have been trying to suppress.

This Vampyre/Were duo take readers on an adventure that fits right into Hazelwood’s style of writing right down to focusing on a Woman in STEM. While this romance differs from her usual genres being a paranormal romance, it’s just as good as her other works.

Bride is definitely on my reread list. For those who love supernatural romance and the depicted kinks/s*xual acts associated with supernatural romances this is definitely for you.
