Claiming Her Innocence by Vivian Wood

4.0

This is the second book by Vivian Wood that I have read. I didn't realize until I was reading it that the hero was Ellie's (from His Best Friend's Little Sister) brother Ryan. I enjoyed the story but felt that it was a little slow starting out. The character's weren't as strong as I would have liked them to be. Poppy was a good strong doctor but she lacked strength when it came to her personal life and what she really wanted. Will I greatly despised. He pissed me off with the way that he treated Poppy, and I can say that I'm glad he got what he did. Sarah was a great friend but I've never been a fan of triangle's and it kind of irritated me that Ryan still messed around with her even though he knew he was attracted to Poppy. I had my up's and down's with this story, but in the end I really enjoyed it. And really? The purple popsicle? That was unique. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy for an honest review*
