Not better than the first to me but it was still very good! It was cool seeing the band regroup and seek rightful vengeance. But I truly had no idea how Kaz would attempt to pull everything off. But like the rest of Ketterdam, he’s always 5 steps ahead.

Character highlights this go around are Kaz of course, Nina, Inej and Jesper. Nina is hilarious even when she’s overcoming pain. But Jesper is so stressful.
Between his father coming to town to him accidentally kissing Kuwei, I was like how many more hits can he manage??
But I think Kaz and Inej really brought it home in the final chapters. I didn’t expect Dirtyhands to be so intentional about Inej
from damaging the pleasure house to buying her boat to finding her parents.
Kaz may not be the *best* person in the world but he’s the best person for everyone in the Crows.

I knew someone would get severely hurt but I didn’t expect THAT. But I think if it were someone else it would’ve hit a bit harder, like one of the girls or Jesper.
